Using PS VR2 on a PC
Connect the headset to the PC with the PS VR2 PC adapter and a DisplayPort 1.4 cable, then install the free PlayStation VR2 app and SteamVR from Steam. The adapter launched at $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99.

PC VR games have their own requirements, so check the game as well. Some Bluetooth adapters are not compatible with the PC adapter. Sony lists HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback beyond basic rumble as unavailable on PC.
Questions
Can PlayStation VR2 be used on a PC?
Yes. Sony released a PC adapter on August 7, 2024. You also need a DisplayPort 1.4 cable, a Steam account and a PC that meets Sony's minimum requirements.
Does PS VR2 work with a PS4?
No. Sony says PS VR2 is compatible with PlayStation 5 consoles and not with PS4 consoles.
Can I play original PlayStation VR games on PS VR2?
No. Sony says original PlayStation VR games are not compatible with PS VR2.
