VRHow Disclaimer

Last updated: 15 October 2026

VRHow is an educational information resource. Its guides, comparison pages, compatibility tools and interactive labs are not a substitute for current manufacturer or publisher documentation, professional advice, or hands-on testing of your particular system.

Specifications and compatibility can change

Headset specifications, supported hardware, drivers, firmware, game requirements, prices and availability may change after a page is written. Regional models and software versions may differ. Check the current documentation from the manufacturer, developer or store before buying, configuring, or relying on a product.

PC compatibility results are estimates

The PC checker compares your selections with published requirements and the tool's stated rules. A result is an estimate, not a guarantee that a game will launch, remain stable, or reach a particular frame rate on your computer. The checker does not run a live benchmark of your PC. Real VR performance depends on the exact processor and graphics card, memory, drivers, operating system, headset, runtime, game version, scene complexity, render resolution, settings, thermal conditions, background software, and—in wireless setups—network conditions.

Interactive labs and visualizations

VRHow's interactive labs are designed to explain concepts. They may use simplified models, illustrative calculations, or simulated visuals rather than physical instruments or data from a connected headset. Simulated lens or optical effects, frame timing, latency, motion, and performance visualizations do not necessarily reproduce the behavior of real-world hardware. A visualized number or effect should not be read as a measurement of your device unless the specific page clearly documents an actual measurement method.

Educational information, not a purchase guarantee

We aim to link technical claims to relevant documentation and to label estimates or uncertainty, but a source or page can become outdated or contain an error. Review the underlying documentation and confirm compatibility with the equipment you plan to use. VRHow does not promise any particular outcome, comfort level, performance, safety result, or product suitability.
