Quest tracking keeps getting lost: how to fix it

Tracking loss usually comes from poor light, dirty cameras or reflective surfaces.

Steps

1. Play in a room with even, bright light. Avoid direct sun and very dark rooms.
2. Wipe the four front cameras and sensors with a dry microfibre cloth.
3. Cover or move large mirrors and glossy surfaces.
4. Restart the headset, then redraw your play space.
5. Make sure hand tracking is not covered by sleeves or gloves.
6. If it keeps happening, update the headset and try a factory reset as a last step.
