Spatial Ops
What is Spatial Ops?
Resolution Games describes Spatial Ops as a mixed-reality shooter that turns a mapped real-world space into an arena. Its official description covers competitive and cooperative matches for up to eight players, while also offering a story-driven campaign about interdimensional threats. See the developer's official game page and Meta's launch article.
Modes and gameplay
The official pages describe a campaign for solo play and an Arena mode built around co-located play in the same physical area. Resolution Games lists Free-for-All, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Domination; the current Meta Quest listing also lists Co-op Survival. Those are mode labels from the linked store and developer pages, not a promise that every edition has identical content. Developer overview · Meta Quest listing
Where it runs
- Native Meta Quest: Meta's store listing identifies Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest Pro as supported platforms. This is the standalone Quest store edition, not a PCVR requirement. Official Meta Quest listing
- Native PICO: The official PICO listing is for Spatial Ops: Campaign Edition and identifies PICO 4 Ultra, PICO 4, PICO 4 Pro, and PICO Space Pro. Official PICO store listing
- Native Apple Vision: Apple's listing is for Spatial Ops: Campaign Edition and labels the platform Apple Vision; it says the app requires visionOS 26.0 or later and notes a requirement for PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers. Official Apple App Store listing
- PCVR and console VR: The official developer page and platform listings linked above do not list a Steam/PCVR or PlayStation VR edition. Do not treat the native Quest, PICO, or Apple Vision listings as PC streaming or console VR support.
Access distinctions
The headset-specific store entries above are native app listings for their named platforms. A connected or streamed PCVR setup is not established by these sources, and the sources do not establish a console VR release. Check the store entry for the exact headset you own before buying; this page does not infer cross-buy, cross-save, or cross-platform entitlement. Resolution Games · Meta · PICO · Apple
Campaign and Arena are different experiences
Resolution Games describes a solo, story-driven campaign as well as an Arena mode for players sharing the same physical area. Its mode list includes Free-for-All, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Domination; the Quest store page also lists Co-op Survival. This split matters when reading store descriptions: the campaign is the single-player narrative route, while Arena is designed around local co-location and a play space mapped by the headset. The sources do not establish that every mode appears in every platform edition. Resolution Games: game and mode description · Meta: Quest modes.
Platform names also need to be read at the edition level. The Meta Quest listing is the full Quest product entry, while PICO and Apple list Spatial Ops: Campaign Edition; the titles signal a separate campaign-focused product rather than proof that each edition contains identical Arena features. Apple's App Store listing labels its product for Apple Vision and names a PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller requirement; that is an accessory requirement in that listing, not a PlayStation VR game listing. These are native app storefronts, not PCVR or console editions. No cross-buy, shared entitlement, or Steam/PSVR release is verified by the cited sources.
