Propagation: Paradise Hotel
Story and play structure
WanadevStudio’s store descriptions begin with Emily Diaz trapped inside the Paradise Hotel and searching for her sister while an illness transforms people into savage creatures. The game is described as a solo survival-horror experience. Rather than positioning it as a multiplayer ghost hunt or arcade shooter, the listings emphasize a story with shifts between stealth, exploration and action, plus allies who can help Emily learn how to survive.
The official feature list gives a practical picture of what players do while moving through the hotel: gather resources, solve puzzles and use items from an inventory. Encounters can be approached by avoiding enemies or confronting them, and reloading a gun under pressure is explicitly called out as part of the game mechanics. That combination suggests the main decision is not simply whether to shoot; the listed tools also include managing supplies, navigating spaces and choosing when to engage. This description follows the store’s stated mechanics and does not imply that every encounter has multiple solutions.
WanadevStudio calls out sound design, lighting and visuals as part of the horror atmosphere. Meta’s listing labels the Quest app comfort level “Moderate” and supports sitting, standing and roomscale play. Those are store-provided descriptions and modes; they are not a promise that the game's tension or movement will suit every player.
Movement and accessibility details
All three platform descriptions identify free movement and teleportation as supported locomotion options. This is useful when checking comfort preferences, but a buyer should still confirm the current controls and platform listing for the version they intend to use. The PlayStation Store further lists sitting, standing and roomscale play for PS VR2, plus volume controls, 3D audio, fully subtitled spoken dialogue and offline pausing. Its page specifies that a minimum 2 m × 2 m area is required for roomscale PS VR2 games; players choosing the sitting or standing style should follow the console’s current setup guidance.
Meta’s Quest entry is single-player, supports controllers, and says an internet connection is not required. The PlayStation edition is also a one-player game with offline play enabled. Steam marks its Windows version “VR Only.” The verified editions therefore share the basic solo survival-horror premise, but their stores and hardware requirements are separate.
Where it runs
- Native Meta Quest: Meta lists Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro for the standalone app. It can be installed and played on the headset itself; this is not the Steam version streaming from a computer.
- PCVR through Steam: Steam marks the Windows PC product “VR Only” and publishes its PC requirements. The computer runs the game, with a VR headset connected to or streamed from that computer. Check Steam’s current requirements for your PC and headset rather than assuming Quest support for the standalone app transfers to PCVR.
- PS5 and PlayStation VR2: PlayStation Store requires the PS5 version, a PS VR2 headset and PS VR2 Sense controllers. This is console VR, not a headset-only Quest installation.
Choosing the right version
Choose the Meta listing if you want the native Quest app and confirm that your headset is on its supported-device list. Choose Steam if you intend to run the PCVR edition and can meet the currently posted computer requirements. Choose the PlayStation listing if you have a PS5 and PS VR2; for roomscale, the store states a minimum play-area footprint. The game’s store pages do not establish cross-buy or transfer of progress across Meta, Steam and PlayStation, so treat them as distinct purchases.
Platform requirements, locomotion and accessibility notes are from official Meta, Steam and PlayStation pages checked October 11, 2026. No rating or performance estimate is included.
