OhShape

Quick take: OhShape is a rhythm VR game from Odders Lab built around moving your whole body to pass, punch, and dodge walls in time with music. The official listings cover separate Meta Quest, PICO, PlayStation VR2, SteamVR, and Viveport entries. Last checked October 11, 2026.

How OhShape plays

OhShape’s official site describes a rhythm game inspired by the television show Hole in the Wall: players make poses, dodge obstacles, and punch walls while following the beat. The developer page also lists Party Mode, Practice Mode, a level editor for custom songs, and a cross-platform online leaderboard.

The official Meta Quest listing describes more than 40 stages with four difficulty levels, Party Mode, Practice Mode, custom-song support, and a free fitness album with six sessions and two difficulty levels. Those are store-listed modes and content descriptions, not a performance or fitness guarantee.

Verified platform editions

What to check before choosing an edition

Use the store that matches the device you intend to use: Meta Quest or PICO for the native headset entries, PlayStation for the PS5/PS VR2 edition, and SteamVR or Viveport for the PC-connected editions. The official pages are separate listings, so a SteamVR listing should not be read as proof that OhShape runs natively on Quest or PICO. OhShape official platform links

Building a session around movement

OhShape's premise is physical rather than button-led: match a body pose to a cut-out, move around an obstacle, or strike a wall as it reaches the player. Its developer presents Party Mode and Practice Mode as different ways to use the same rhythm framework, and the Meta listing describes stages with multiple difficulty levels. For someone new to the game, those labels help distinguish a challenge-oriented play session from practice or a shared party session without relying on an external review. The custom-song feature is another edition detail worth checking. The official developer page and Quest listing describe creating or playing custom levels/music; a store link for one edition should not be assumed to describe the same tools or content on every platform. The PICO entry, PlayStation VR2 listing, SteamVR page, and older Viveport entry are separate products, and the Viveport listing itself says that edition will not receive further updates. That makes the store's product name and update note more useful than a general “OhShape supported” label when choosing where to install it. Use the current official listing for the exact device, especially when comparing OhShape with OhShape Ultimate. PICO Store · PlayStation Store · Steam · Viveport update note.
