FitXR

Quick take: FitXR is a VR fitness app built around Boxing, Flow, Dance, HIIT, Sculpt, and Combat workouts. The current official store entry verified for this page is the Meta Quest version; this is an information guide based on official sources, not a hands-on review. Last checked October 11, 2026.

What you do in FitXR

FitXR’s official site describes a set of workout studios rather than a single campaign: Flow combines dance, combat, and cardio; Boxing has players strike 3D targets and build punch combos; Combat emphasizes rapid strikes, defense, and multiplayer battles; HIIT provides high-intensity drills; and Dance follows an instructor and the beat. The site also presents its coaches as virtual trainers. These are the publisher’s descriptions, not a claim about medical or fitness outcomes.

The official Meta Quest listing describes Boxing, Flow, Dance, HIIT, Sculpt, and Combat workouts for different levels, guided by certified coaches. Meta lists both single-user and multiplayer game modes, with standing, sitting, and roomscale play modes; it also lists hands and controllers as supported input options.

Verified platform availability

Meta’s store entry identifies FitXR’s developer and publisher as FitXR and lists support for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest 3S. That is a native Meta Quest store listing: it does not mean the app is a native PCVR, SteamVR, or PlayStation VR title.

I did not find a current official PCVR/Steam or console-VR store listing to verify for this page. FitXR’s official December 2021 announcement said development of the PSVR and Steam versions was paused while the team focused on Quest. Accordingly, this page does not present PCVR streaming, a Steam edition, or console VR as currently verified or playable.

Access notes

How the workout studios differ

FitXR's official site presents several distinct class formats rather than one single workout loop. Boxing centers on hitting targets and building punch combinations; Dance follows choreography and music; Flow combines dance, combat, and cardio; HIIT is described as high-intensity drills; Sculpt is a separate studio; and Combat focuses on rapid strikes, defense, and multiplayer battles. The app's store page lists the same studio family and identifies both single-user and multiplayer play. These are descriptions of the workout formats, not medical advice or a claim about calories, results, or exercise suitability. FitXR official studio descriptions · Meta Quest listing.

For a first session, the Meta page is useful because it identifies supported Quest models and lists standing, sitting, and roomscale play modes, with hands and controllers as input options. That store information can help a user check the app listing against their headset and preferred play mode before opening it. The same official listing identifies FitXR as the developer and publisher. It does not make the app a PCVR/Steam release. FitXR's official 2021 announcement said Steam and PSVR development were paused at that time; because it is historical, this page does not treat it as proof of present-day release status or make an unverified claim about later changes.
