VR game release dates: confirmed 2026 calendar

Short answer: two 2026 dates on this page have passed and are supported by launch evidence: Bandai Namco says Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes launched April 24, and the official US PlayStation Store lists Into the Radius 2 for PS VR2 with an October 8 release date after its September delay. October 8, 2026 — Into the Radius 2 (PS VR2; delayed, now listed). The original PlayStation Blog announcement named September 24. On September 17, the developer said the launch would instead take place October 8; UploadVR reported the two-week certification delay. The official US PlayStation Store now lists the PS5/PS VR2 game with a 10/8/2026 release date and a live product page. The date discrepancy is therefore resolved: September 24 was superseded. UploadVR’s September 30 calendar lists Disembodied, Spymaster 1.0, Traffix XR and Bad Inmate for October 15, and Terry’s Terraforming for October 22. Launched means a publisher or live store provides post-launch evidence. Announced date means a source stated a future target; it can change. Reported date means a specialist outlet lists the date, but a current first-party listing was not verified here. A delay supersedes the earlier date. These distinctions matter across VR because Quest, PC VR, and PS VR2 versions may have different certification paths, store rollouts, or feature timing; a game release does not prove every platform build or promised multiplayer mode is available on day one.
