Earlier headsets

The Pimax Vision 8K X was marketed as the first dual native 4K consumer headset, with a field of view of 200 degrees diagonal, 170 horizontal and 115 vertical. Digital Trends named it a CES 2020 AR/VR top tech pick. We have not verified specs for the 4K, 5K and other 8K models, so we are not publishing them yet.

Using Pimax on a laptop

Pimax says the Crystal Light and Super work with laptops that have a direct GPU output to a MiniDP or USB-C port, and the adapter must support DisplayPort 1.4a at 8K and 60 Hz. See the GPU guide for how headset needs compare. This page covers specs and prices, not hands-on testing.
