Prices have moved. A September 2026 article reports a permanent cut to $959 (Beyond 2) and $1,019 (Beyond 2e), while an older store listing showed $899. Bigscreen discounted launch prices for original Beyond owners, and a VRChat Edition of the 2e is listed at $250 more than the base. Refresh rate is 90 Hz, or 75 Hz at full resolution.

Road to VR reported launch prices of $1,019 for the Beyond 2 and $1,219 for the Beyond 2e. A later article says Bigscreen cut the base price to $959 and the 2e to $1,019, and an older store listing showed $899. Check Bigscreen's store for today's price.

What does the 'e' in Beyond 2e mean?

It means the headset includes eye tracking. Road to VR says it works with SteamVR and enables foveated rendering.

What is new compared with the original Beyond?

Do I need base stations?
